NOTES: Nominees for the 2012 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, given annually to the top player in NCAA Division I women's ice hockey, were announced on Feb. 20. The University of Wisconsin earned the No. 1 ranking for the seventh straight week ... ECAC Hockey, the Hockey East Association and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association all have three ranked teams, while College Hockey America has one ranked team ... ABOUT THE POLL: The 15th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women’s College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the four NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
