Balancing school and hockey: "It's a lot of time management. Factor in time for everything you think you need to do in a day to better yourself on the ice and in the classroom."

 

Her family support: "Growing up, hockey has always been a part of my life and my family's life. My parents have always been supportive; they kind of stopped their lives for my brother and I to play hockey. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today."
