He Said It
On choosing to play in the USHL
"I would say that the USHL and college route gives you a little bit more time to develop until you become a professional. If you take the Canadian major junior leagues, you don't have that much time. You have to be able to play at an elite level before you're 21, while college gives you a couple of extra years to get stronger and develop."
On His Offensive Prowess
"It's something that I've been working on in my game to bring a little more offense to our team and this year everything started clicking for me. We had a great group of guys and that really helped too."
On Attending Western Michigan
"They have a great program set in stone there. I'm super excited to join their team and hopefully to make an impact this coming year. They've got a great fan base. The student section usually gets pretty rowdy so I'm excited to play in front of them."
